For the grower who prefers the more traditional method, a properly inoculated log using wooden plugs will produce mushrooms for 5 or more years.
 
Each bag contains approximately 200 wooden dowels (1 inch long, 5/16th inch diameter). Every dowel is inoculated with our best Shiitake strain. 
 
All other strains are available upon request.
